In a major update to QuickSet, UEI will demonstrate its Quickset homeSense technology as a foundational block for home intelligence, which learns and adapts to home environments to unlock personalized experiences in energy management, entertainment control and advertising, all on-device, ensuring user privacy at all times. This new technology is complemented by QuickSet 7’s expanded smart home capabilities as a Matter Controller and OpenThread Border Router with a powerful rules engine; and deeper video and audio content discovery and control across all the leading IP-connected entertainment devices.
Expanding UEI’s embedded connectivity offering, QuickSet Widget Pro, features the new UE72Y and UE72X models. These multi-protocol modules enable advanced connectivity with dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for Matter, Zigbee and OpenThread Border Router Host services. Pre-integrated with an advanced software suite, including QuickSet 7.0 with homeSense technology, and new capabilities such as Edge AI processing, video stream decoding, QuickSet Widget Pro is designed for the future of home intelligence. Introducing new capabilities in the existing range of connected, smart thermostats, UEI TIDE adds new control features and services for US and European central AC/heating systems and mini-split systems worldwide. With the addition of a more powerful privacy-first, occupancy & presence detection powered by QuickSet homeSense, coupled with a built-in rules engine and energy insight services. UEI will also highlight new capabilities to personalize home control and manage a mix of Thread and IP Matter devices in the home in a powerful new platform.
In the realm of home entertainment control, UEI will showcase its UEI Eterna sustainable remote family, including XLR, a Battery-free remote control with a new slim design that delivers all the functionalities demanded from today’s voice-enabled entertainment controllers, in the most energy-efficient platform yet.
