Human Resource Coordinator

The HR department seeks a hands on generalist to assist within a growing department. The position is ideal for an enthusiastic candidate who has the drive to succeed and a passion for learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and assist with job fairs and other sources to boost candidate pipeline
  • Assist with Coordinating interviews and flight arrangements
  • Perform post offer activities and conduct new hire orientation
  • Arrange temporary housing when new employees are hired
  • Enter new hires into benefit programs and make changes as needed
  • Work with employees to obtain visas for business travel to other offices
  • Work with our travel agent to make candidate travel arrangements
  • Update new hire forms as needed
  • File and maintain personnel/benefits/immigration files
  • Assist with LOA administration
  • Coordinate company events and create email announcements about events
  • Daily coverage of the reception desk during lunch and breaks
  • Distribute mail
  • Ensure mandatory posters are updated as needed
  • Serve as payroll backup, assist with payroll or run payroll as needed
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze results 
  • Recommend new approaches to benefit the company and enhance department’s overall efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of CA HR guidelines and Regulations
  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of HR experience
  • ADP software, a plus
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking System
  • Previous experience coordinating events
  • Exceptional customer service
